Mr Howes also offers piano lessons to beginners and intermediate players. Tuition is on a lovely Kawai digital piano and support can be given for piano exams. So far, his students have a 100 per cent success rate in piano exams!

He can also support students taking Functional Skills English and Maths, Levels 1 and 2. Daytime lessons are available for mature students.

“I think a great deal can be achieved in one-to-one lessons. I hope to give students greater confidence in their chosen subject,” said Mr Howes, a former pupil of Lawrence Sheriff Grammar School, Rugby.

One parent wrote: ‘We are very grateful for your help which I am sure was hugely valuable in our son’s preparation for the 11-plus.’

Another said: ‘My daughter is very much looking forward to resuming her sessions in September – she’s progressed so well since she started with you and really enjoys attending; to the point that maths is now one of her favourite subjects!’
